Government Jobs Taking Over, Do Markets Like Republicans or Democrats More After Election Day? and Market Resilience: Insights from FrameTec's COO
Turnkey Retirement Newsletter: Volume 33
Hope you took advantage of the right to vote, not something to take for granted, much of the world I’ve visited, places like Myanmar, China, and the Middle East don’t have the same freedoms and their citizens don’t enjoy these rights we have guaranteed in the United States.
Lots going on this week economically – some good, some… interesting. Let’s dive in.
Government Jobs Taking Over…And RIP Peanut :(
Just in time for the election, Kamala turns in a catastrophic jobs report.
Private sector jobs fell for the first time since the pandemic. Swamped by 40,000 government jobs to get all the squirrels.

The theme this year has been consistent retroactive negative edits of job reports. This week, the initial report already shows the negative.
Government jobs continually replace private sector positions, making the market continue to look stronger than it really is.
If you don’t understand the Peanut or squirrel references, look it up and hold your pets close tonight.
Do Markets Like Republicans or Democrats More After Election Day?
Interesting trend to witness here on the months following election day over the past 24 years.
This year brought many things in that haven’t been seen in election years past. NVIDIA requesting immunity from the SEC, Super Micro’s auditor resigning, bond selloffs, and more are putting lots of pressure on markets at the moment.
Will this trend continue? Only time will tell.
Market Resilience: Insights from FrameTec's COO
When we were in Sedona with our FrameTec investors we had a chat with Josh Lewis, COO of FrameTec.
He gave us insight into how the company hedges, so regardless of who wins today, whether it’s Trump or Harris, the company comes out ahead. This type of intelligence and wisdom only comes from hard won past experience and knowledge of the commodities market and home building.
That’s the theme I’ll leave you with today: Some people are learning from their community - how to succeed in any market environment. Others are getting ready to put their head in the sand and fail to take action or learn from others’ mistakes and successes.
If you want to be a part of the action takers, step 1 is community.
Talk soon!
To Freedom,
